A Forest With No Birdsong

A Forest With No Birdsong is a conversation between filmmaker Jacob Cruz-Rine and his mother, Rosaline Cruz-Rine, about family, legacy, Guahan, and CHamoru culture. The meditative documentary features them both shaving coconuts on kamyus. The film was shown at YBCA in 2019, and later that year at the APAture Film Festival through Kearny Street Workshop.
